Ondacka Y3K: The Ø≈ Book, is a current work in progress. Taking form as an unconventional travel guide set in the future, it blends art, science, and storytelling to envision a future where landforms– as distinctive biomes– hold legal personhood and speak through an evolving language of things. Written and developed by Sandy Litchfield in collaboration with designers, scientists, and research students, The Ø≈ Book expands on the exhibitions The Futuring Lab (2023) and Y3K: On Distant Keys (2024), transforming their speculative ecology into a richly layered publication. Designed in the spirit of an illustrated field manual, it merges maps, essays, and visual spreads that blur the boundary between the human and the more-than-human world.
